eSportsCarParts Problems?

Post by Pinin85 »

Has anyone had trouble with this company? They sell manuals, diagrams and books on Fiats. I ordered some items from them 3 weeks ago but haven't heard a word from them despite my attempts to contact them regarding my order. The only correspondence from them was an order acknowledgement and my receipt from PayPal for payment.

I ordered an electrical diagram from them a year ago and had no trouble.

You wouldn't be the first one, same guy who used to own Caribou imports.

I ordered a top boot a while back - no issues; took a little while as those are made custom order but it's noted on their web site.

Looks like old "Ed" has quite a history. I have initiated a refund through PayPal and he has even ignored that. Hopefully, they will get me my money back.

I am having the same trouble with this outfit. After ignoring many emails over a month time span asking when I would receive my 5 speed transmission manual I have filed a dispute with PayPal requesting a refund. Time will tell if I get back my $29.65. Word to the wise -- avoid this fellow.

I have now escalated my dispute to a claim since he has not responded at all. Hopefully, PayPal will get me my money back. I also found several other websites that he is associated with.

Last I heard (years ago), Ed was on his deathbed and was scaling back operations...I didn't know he was still in business under a different name.

Csaba and I bought Ed out several years ago. From what I recall he was still selling manuals and not parts. I hope he's doing alright.

Ed still posts pretty regularly over on Mirafiori.com. I've got a PDF file of the 5 speed trans manual if anyone needs it send me an email matt.scarton@gmail.com no charge.

I bought a transmission manual & a carb diagram from him a couple years ago. At the time his website was set up so you could order from the website & pay through Amazon.com Manuals came fairly soon, kept the paperwork with them but the charge on Amazon never happened. Actually felt rather bad about that but he should have had all the information he needed and I never heard anything further from him. Thinking for some reason running a business is just too difficult for him, really doubt that he is trying to cheat anyone.

Unfortunate that he can't run his business. He has some great manuals. Is there another source for them that anyone is aware of?

The saga ends. I received my money back from PayPal today as they ruled in my favor. eSportsCarParts did not even respond to PayPal. Very unfortunate because I would love to get some of the manuals they offer.

Ditto for me. No response from Ed (esportscarparts) either to me or PayPal. If he has enough funds in his account with PayPal I will receive a refund. Lousy way to run a business. I am very disappointed in him.
