Almost ready

Post by htchevyii »

Next weekend is it! I finally finished welding up the Swiss cheese shock towers. The rat got new poly sway bar bushings, outer tie rods, new upper arm bushings and good used lower control arms today. The PO had installed the lower ball joints on top of the control arm, which caused the arm to crack. I got a new helmet too!

Ya, it's just local autocross so speeds are fairly low. The track is really gravelly and chips up the paint on nice cars, hope it doesn't chip my primer and rust.

The local /outlaw type autocrosses are way more fun than SOLO events. The SCCA has a way of sucking the fun out of everything, with too much legislation.Go out there and have fun!
