You've gotta love those PO's! The lower ball joint on my rat racer was hanging on by one bolt! The ball joints had been installed incorrectly with the joint on top of the arm instead of below. This puts all of the pressure on the three bolts instead of spreading out the load. Please make sure yours are installed correctly.

Another forum member did that same thing. Lucky for him he posted pictures and was corrected right away. That had to be scarry when it went.

It was actually still hanging by a thread. I was going to change the ball joint and after I took out 2 bolts it fell off!
