In my case it was easy, because instead of the seat I have a hard shelf. So I welded vertical legs, I can take some photos for you. With the seat it will be more difficult, especially if you want it to look nice and still rigid.
Here is the wind deflector I'm using, the width of the lower edge is perfect fit for the Spider.
