Can anyone help me? I did a stupid mistake!

I decided to change the turn signal flasher on my 72 spider and forgot to mark where everything goes, Thuh.
There are 3 wires: gray, light blue, light Violet. There are 3 prongs on the flasher: +, L, P. What goes where? any one's help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you're missing the three pronged plug end. On mine ('82) the violet goes to "+", blue goes to "P", and your gray one looks to be blue with gray bands on mine, goes to "L". I haven't compared the diagrams, but Brad Artigue's page will give us the comparison.

Looie, it may not be a matching color code, I just checked the wiring diagram for your car (http://www.artigue.com/fiat) and it shows: blue to "P", violet to "L", gray to "+". If you don't have them downloaded yet, Brad Artigue has got the wiring diagrams for all our cars at his website.
