What is the best way to flush and clean the cooling system of a 124 Spider

You can add a cooling system flush, then do a heater hose T flush. Prestone sells a kit for doing the flush.

Don't forget to undo the block drain plug on the exhaust side of the block, in the middle.

I don't have a picture but it is typically a small brass plug just below the freeze flugs. Maybe 6 or 8 MM. You can't mis it.
