Had really good results using this method on some severely clogged injectors so I thought I'd share.
1. Pull injectors, obtain fire extinguisher.
2. Clamp 2 feet of Power Steering Hose to the spraying end.
3. Fill hose with cleaner.
4. Clamp air hose fitting on the other end with a trigger fitting. Pressure up to about 50psi.
5. Use and old electrical connector with a intermittand switch in line.
6. Connect to battery.
7. Pulse switch and air about 15-20 times.
8. Be grateful you didn't need the fire extinguisher.

Re: Cleaning Fuel Injectors
That's essentially what I did. Used air instead of syringe but that looks like it would work just as well.
As you can see in the video it really knocks the crap out of the injectors.

Re: Cleaning Fuel Injectors
Our injectors have a small screen inside. I suppose a back flush would clean them.
I send mine to a local fellow that cleans, changes the internal filter and flow tests for $25 each. Flow test was good as it pointed out a weak injector so did not install it.
Good video though.

Re: Cleaning Fuel Injectors
If I didn't have a big fire extinguisher and a "burning desire" to get the job done I'd probably tend to agree with sending them out.
For those of you in the South, I've had great service for Vette injectors from FIC in Atlanta.

One question though... Has anyone ever sourced a fuel rail that accepts the newer Bosch units? Seem's to me there should be something available that would be way easier to deal with than the old hose style.

Linn
