Re: X1/9 Dallara
Love the exhaust note! It must have been a chore to shoe horn the new equipment in that small space! Any idea on the horsepower improvement over stock? What other mods were done to the engine?
The related videos show the car in full -- I REALLY like the Dallara body work although I prefer the duck tail spoiler instead of the wing. Wish I had room for an "X!"

azruss - take Highway 191 north from Morenci to Alpine in eastern Arizona. Plenty of cool tall pines and one hell of a twisty road with a few tree-lined straights where you can open 'er up! You'll almost think you're IN the northwest, for a while anyway. It would be a blast in that Dallara X!!!Gawd, do I miss the northwest

The car got as much attention as any car I've had in the shop. Everyone wanted to know about it. We've dyno tested the X header/exhaust system and it provides a 10% peak hp increase and 15% up in the 6k rpm range. It really wakes the car up. That Dallara has a dead stock 1500 except for our exhaust system

The problem with living in Phoenix is that you have to drive 2 hours to get to any road that is the slightest interesting. My first go will be the road from Apache Junction to Canyon Lake and out the other side until I hit dirt. After that, the road isnt fit for man or beast. Even with that, its an hour to Apache Junction.
