Convertable Top with Rear Glass??

Yes--that video looks very much like what my Spider had but it did not wrap around the sides as much as the one in the video. I really think I bought one of the last ones Fiat NA made as they filed bankruptcy right after I bought the car. I gave the dealer a real piece of my mine because they knew that they were going out of business when they sold those last batch of Fiats and getting warranty parts was going to be impossible for a while.

Someone filed a class action lawsuit agains Fiat NA due to parts not being available but the bankruptcy court wipped out the suit. The Dealer did give me a nice trade in value to get me into another car. The top sure did not look like any retrofit, but I do not know.

I had an 83' for years that had very odd badging. It was a Pininfarina with the new styling but without the Azzura badging, it still had FIAT badging with a normal soft top. I have seen soft tops that were custom made where the rear window zips out of the soft top for better air flow. Very Cool! I wonder what a custom small glass rear window costs?

And to think I traded that car in with only 8000 miles on it and owned it for only a year---Damn I want it back even though it was a pain in the ass and always broke down!!
