Wow cool. I had read your mgb post. No offence to the mgb but, the spider has way better lines. Hopefully the car checks out. Anything that could deter you? Sounded like in the other thread that you were looking for a serious challenge. This one looks like it has a lot of things that you can work on, hope the bones check out.

Re: 79 Fiat
nice score. good choice. they both look like some work involved in getting them going. when all is said and done, the Fiat is a much more refined car. When i drive a Spider, i am always reminded of what a modern car it was in its time, where a MGB always had that "way-back" engineering. It was old technology even when it was new.

Oh haha, I didn't put 2 and 2 together. so then... Why another project when you have one that needs so much attention? Just cause? or to fill in the time between waiting for things on one car?rodman wrote:Challenge lol have you seen my current threads on restore im doing on my 1980 spider??

Re: 79 Fiat
Yes that is correct... It would not start ' or turn over so I didn't want to take a chance being I had to haul it 700 miles on a trailer.124JOE wrote:the rims look like factory seel rims "iron cross"with beauty rings
