Have any of you heard this before, I got 10 lbs of the dry ice a couple of weeks ago to remove the dings.. there's videos out there on the technique.. but it didn't work for me... supposedly the car must be in a very warm sunny position when you apply the dry ice...

We tried it several ways on the inside of the dent and outside but nothing... anybody?

Re: Dry Ice to remove door dings..
I've never heard of this before, but I'm assuming the logic behind this is a dent stretches metal and the dry ice would shrink it back. If it would work, I doubt it would work on a ding. It would have to be on a larger dent where the metal was pushed in and not creased.
Where is your dent located? It sounds like both sides of the panel are accessible so it would be a good candidate for paintless dent removal. Find a reliable company with a tech that has a few years under his belt. It'll cost around $75 - $100 to remove the dent and if the paint hasn't been broken, you won't be able to tell where it was.
