I post pictures using makeathumbnail.com

1. go to makeathumbnail.com
2. click on browse
3. browse for the picture you want to post from your computer
4. select thumbnail size (I usually choose 250x250, it fits 2 pics side by side on this forum)
5. click "make a thumbnail"
6. three thumbnail formats appear in seperate boxes, Copy the text in BBCode box
7. paste the text onto your post

Note: I usually have 2 internet windows open at the same time to go between. 1st with Fiatspider.com forum and 2nd make a thumbnail site. Easier to make multiple thumbnails and paste onto my post
(I haven't tried or needed to use my phone to do this but I am sure it works the same.)

Curious what it would take to make this easier? I'm sure Mark is weary of our whining (ok - my whining) but knows we dig the forum and are grateful for all its wisdom and connectivity. I for one would be willing to contribute to the cost of modifications to the server to make cut and paste of pix possible....although I have absolutely no idea whether that is possible or practical. Thoughts?

Here's a posting I made several years ago. http://www.fiatspider.com/f08/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=5074 Some of the screen shots have changed, but the principle remains the same. It's very easy, reduces the storage space required on the site, and allows you, the owner of the photo, to delete it anytime in the future if you wish.
