If you look under the 71 Spider pages on my personal site below, there is a Piros or two of the rack being installed.

Thanks I will need to change to rack pinon setup when I installed the V6, what did you get yours from?

From a 1985.5 Spider. They R&P setups are available, but cost about $3000. You are better off finding a universal one that fits.

I will fabricate something for sure, I plan on removing the cross member and do some reinforcing, so at that time I will build the rack pinon setup at that time. I was looking at the uni-body undercarriage I may build a tubular frame to set the car on... That is up in air but it looks like it night be good ideal.

Tube frame isn't really necessary...just a strong cross member...the stock one works great to start with providing it is rust free...I found that it will bolt up flipped 180° with no changes in suspension geometry...just have to fabricate a mount for the rack. New steering arms... The tie rods for an 85 pinifarina spider with rack and pinion will work... I drilled and tapped mine for the 72 pinto rack that I used.. I am sure you could use other racks...
