Re: JCWhitney Conversation
Boy, hope you guys don't get too upset if you come out to Australia, because the correct response to thank you is "no worries mate"

Being not 50 yet, I don't mind no worries or its all good and so on. But I will not be called dawg without a scolding being given in return. Young people now are creating a culture that really shows there intelligence , or lack of.

Re: JCWhitney Conversation
I think that "Dawg" thing is actually considered a complement, but not sure. They lost me when "bad" suddenly meant good.

Dang, they lost you a long time ago...
I agree that "no worries", "any time", and several others work in lieu of you're welcome... I have been trying to go back to you're welcome myself since this thread started... I think I was saying "sure thing" or "no problem" myself!

Re: JCWhitney Conversation
I'm almost 64 years old. Our sons are in their 30's. I have a grandson. I have relatives in Australia! When I thank someone, I appreciate some kind of acknowledgement of my thanks. I really don't care whether that acknowledgement is "you're welcome", "no worries", "no problem" or whatever. I think there are a whole lot more things to worry about in this world than the response to "Thank You". Those who do think that "you're welcome" is the only proper response really do need to get a life.

Poor Spidernut!
I think this thread has gone in a completely different direction than what he originally intended.
I am partially to blame for that.
For that, I say "I am sorry".

But, I did order a set of KYBs. Great price at about $21 each. Also a set of seat covers. I'll review those at a later date.
