You've said in the past that you replace the stock clock with a digital (?) that fits in place of the original. Mine is toast and I'm wondering if you sell them or can give me the info on where to buy one.

I am curious: is it a analog or digital readout? I've been considering doing a replacement for my clock the next time I need to get into the instrument cluster.

we've been using a VDO analog clock that looks very close to the original clock. If you look at the restoration thread titled
"sneak preview" there should be a picture of the dash

Thank you Mark. BTW, I couldn't make the drive yesterday, the guy here in Lancaster who just got the 79 had asked for some help on his car and he only has Sundays off. He'd had the interior redone, the basket wheels refurbished and has been trying to get it to run better. His mechanical fuel pump has been replaced with an electric, we found the feed wire under the carpet. I don't know much about the carbs, but his is a two barrel Webber with a water choke. He couldn't get it to idle below 2,000 rpms. We found the kick down solenoid (?) was stuck and what looked to me like the vacuum and fuel adjustment screws needed work. We got it down to about 1300 after working on the carb and checking ingition timing, but I'm thinking his carb is going to need work. He's getting wet plugs from raw fuel. Compression is about 140 across the board. He also has distributor problems, the mechanical advance plate is real sticky and the shaft feels a little loose.
We did take it out on the road though for the first time, He got pretty exited!
