Bye Spider. Totaled!

Post by corujoxx »

Some days ago, I had a transmision break. The main bearing of the diff fails and the rear tires were bocked.
Here we have the results, the Spider was completely wrecked and me and my wife came directly to the hospital. Afortunalety, we are ok, but the car can´t be saved.

The car was restored only two month before this happens, and it was fantastic. By the moment, no plan to buy another, I need some time to recover, me and my budget!

That is so sad. At least you are both ok, but you must feel like you've lost a close friend.

WOW good to hear you and the wife are ok! As others have said looks like a beautiful Spider 2000. I know I would have been a proud owner if I had the car. Sorry for you loss. Good news is you are both healthy.

sorry to hear about this tragedy, but there must be more to the story. If the car was restored two months ago, it would be interesting to find out what broke and why

corujoxx,
I think we are all saddened to see this.
Your car was beautiful.
Thankfully, it sounds like you and your wife are going to be alright.
Once you pick up the pieces, and go through several stages of emotions, perhaps there will be another Spider in your future.

So sorry to hear about your situation. My take away from your unfortunate event is that I will be taking a much closer look at my Fiona when doing any project or inspections  and for that I want to say "Thank you" for sharing  I wish you and your family the best in your recoveries with the holiday season fast approaching.

Sorry for your loss,
I'm glad to hear you are both ok. No one should have to go through that, it is a scary experience.

Man that was such a beautiful car! Glad to hear you're both OK. After doing such a nice job on the car I can not imagine you giving up on them. If you do, understand you will be back!

She was beautiful but so is life!

That looks like a very slippery road ,Lets all remember that these cars are not known and built for there safety under those conditions we could all fear the worst,I say this because i was in a similar accident at 160 km in my Alfa 2000 Junior on the auto barn in Germany, the car was a total right off but I walked away without a scratch I remind myself all the time just how lucky I was.

I wish you and your wife a healthy recovery and hope to see you back soon.
