Hello all,
I recently joined the forum and was hoping to find any Fiat spider owners in the Chapel Hill /Carrboro area. I was hoping to find somebody who wouldn't mind educating me about Fiats. I already have a classic Mini, so I know that rust is an issue in any old car. I am looking for a nice spider for my wife and would love to learn how to buy one,
thank you in advance,
Abel

thanks for the link. When I first joined some weeks ago, that was the first post I read. It is very informative and it helped me a lot to get acquainted with Fiats, but I was hoping to meet somebody in my area and see his/her car.
thank you,
Abel

Abel,
I just met you yesterday. I was driving my fiat and we talked for a bit about our cars. Funny that I came across this message today. I'd be happy to sit down and talk about the Fiat. (And yes, it was far too cold to be driving with the top down. Thats what a sweater, scarf, hat, and gloves are for though!...Even the dog had a jacket!)
For the record yall, Abel's Mini is a sweet lil RHD thing. If you're not a fan of the mini watch the old "Italian Job". Good movie.

Abel, I will be out of town for most of the month of december. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you want to get the cars together for a playdate before I head out of town for winter break.
