Going For an Early Ride Height

My suspension is almost ready to go back together, the only component left are the springs. I'd like to return my car to a European (or early American) ride height. It's a 75 with stock uncut springs. How much should I cut front and rear to achieve my desired height? I've done a lot of searching, but haven't come to a definitive answer. As I understand it, springs varied a lot through the years and I really don't want to mess up! Thanks in advance.

On my 82 I cut one coil from each spring and am very happy with the hight it is at now. I do not know if that would be correct for your car. You could cut a half coil at a time and see how that works out. It is easy to cut more, but no going back once you cut them.
