it's quite sad to se Lancia go this way, they were the innovators of the industry.....and had a very rich history in rally.

being a lancia owner, im dissapointed, but in some ways ok with it. im dissapointed with the fact that lancia will be a rebadged chrysler that i can go buy at the local dealership. lancias have always held a special place in my heart. the design and mystique should be left truly lancia. i would rather see a rebadged lancia sold as a chrysler in the usa. then i could buy a new one. but never the less, im glad the marque will survive and not go by the wayside.

Could be far worse. The Ypsilon continues to be built in Italy (and continues to be a strong seller). And anything that maintains the Lancia nameplate allows for the possibility of resuscitating the marque in the future. After all, 20 years ago, how many of us would have given Maserati any chance of still being around now?

For point of reference, the modern Triumph bikes are pretty good.
