I am putting a 1800 intake on my 79 spider. I do not know what to do about the egr.
What are you doing about the egr pass through the head? You will need to clamp the egr tube before it reaches the head on the exhaust side.

a solid gasket on the tube on the exhaust side between the tube and the exhaust manifold is an easy way
