Signal Lights

I am looking for signal light that I can put on the body of a 79 spider.

Where at? In the bumper shock hole? the "other" hole? the grill area?

You've got several good options. I, personally, found some decent cone shaped dealies that I screwed right into the grill area while I decide what I REALLY want to do. In my dream world I'd get fogs in the bumper shock hole and signals in that square hole. I talked with Mark Allison about clear lenses instead of the ambers for the light kit he sells some time ago. Someday I'll make that happen.

At any rate, Mark has a good kit for the bumper shock hole, and Tony Miracle has a nice kit for the squarish hole. The cheap deals like I have can be found at any trailer or truck section in just about any store. The problem has been that they draw too little because they are marker lights, so they will mess up your signalling system unless you address the draw somehow.

And those are also only about a quarter as bright as a turn signal bulb, so nobody will see them unless they happen to look right at them.

Mark: http://www.allisonsautomotive.com/
Let me get back to you on Tony...it's easy for me to get ahold of him, because he's a FB friend, lol. He is a member here, too, but I can't remember his user name. Something to do with Gritt Racing.

Clear lense +clear bulb = wimpy fogs. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
