Columbus Day in SA

So, I'm watching the news last night and they are taking about the week long Columbus day celebrations in town. On Sunday the 14th they will be having a big spagetti dinner. In the background they had a group of people rolling and frying some meetbals to go into the sauce. An just as the camera was fading out bags of Pizzelle cookies on display for sale.... And then bang, the head of the Christopher Columbus Italian Society in San Antonio Texas says there will be a car show as well.

I've lived in this town for 9 years... No idea we had an Italian society.. Looks like we have Sunday planned after church. Good food, Cool cars and a little cultural heritage for the kids.
