I have noticed very distinctly the past few months, in my business and elsewhere, a terrible feeling of fear and even dread over the future state of our country, and our economy, and our leaders. I pray we work through these differences and get back on track. It is really starting to get to just about everyone. So take a break if needed, after all, we do this for fun and enjoyment! There isn't any prewritten script. But I am sorry to see you go, even if temporarily. I have learned a lot from your posts and am quite appreciative of your contributions.

I think you're on to something here. For the last two years, I've watched predictions unfold and our economy tank and have become pretty short tempered myself. Lots of folks are getting stressed and short in temper now days. Sometimes it's good to take a breather from the normal routine and step into something different.

In my case, I went from having decided to sell my Spider since it sat untouched to spending less time online and more time in the garage. I've decided to keep the Spider and may add a second one to the stable, if for no other reason, but to refresh skills in metal fab, welding and engine work that I've let get stale.
