Spent last week in Spokane and had a chance to connect up with these two yayhoos. Jim and I drove his stock 81 to Don's in Hayden Lake. Don was nice enough to let me put his car thru the acid test with his new shoes and carb. Car tracked great with all sorts of bite and the carb really kicked it up when the pedal hit the floor. Jim got a sweet deal on a stock 81. The drive to Idaho was all freeway on a beautiful warm fall day. It was a reminder of how well sorted out these cars are. Smooth and exact. The pleasure was all mine,guys. Thanks.

Russ, it was great to see you again & meet Jim.
We definitely got a great day to meet up on, days like that are getting short,

I had a blast shooting the Fiat breeze, Jims car is a BEAUTIFUL example of a stock FI car.
Actually the first time I sat in a Spider with stock seats (that were not trashed out like mine when I got it)
My aftermarket seats sit fairly low but still about an inch higher than stock.

Anyway lets do this again when your up again & Jim get ahold of me if your in my area or any events are going on over in yours.
