Hello all,

I've had a few requests for updates.

I did get the car running many months ago. Other then being loud due to a few exhaust leaks, it runs great after a carb rebuild and tune up (carb adjust only).

The battery in the car died quite quickly. May have been partially frozen before I installed it. However I've been leaving the battery disconnected when I'm not messing with it. Just in case.

Although I have all the parts. I've barely touched her, other then the battery all summer. My job got busy and where I used to have some freedom to come and go, I had none this summer. Just full hours.

Thus I've gotten virtually nowhere on the car. It does drive around. It stays in reverse without holding it in. It also runs and starts smoothly and easily. However until I do the timing belt and strut towers it's not really drivable.

Either before or after I get those done, I also have a few various seals and gaskets to change out on the engine. However they are simply leak prevention, not so much repairs.

Also the windshield is cracked, and the oxidized top split open over the summer. I currently have that gorilla taped.

So, although I'd love to tell you all (and my mother), that I'd gotten further sooner. It hasn't been so quick. I'll try to update if anything changes.
