Hey y'all:
thought I'd share my new "accidental" acquisition.

I didn't mean to buy this car... it was something of a misunderstanding.... But the owner said he had counted on me buying it.... and I think it's waaay under-valued.... So I just pickced-up an '03 Jaguar STR!!!

For any who aren't familiar with these, it's the S-Type Jag, with a 400hp Supercharged V8 in it. Jag's answer to the BMW M5 or Audi A8.

HMM.. not a Porsche sorta guy.... but I nearly bought a 911C a couple weeks ago. Sometimes a car just looks right... y'know?

seriously though.... I need to stop it.... I still haven't even turned a wrench on the TR. (which would be great if I were driving it.... but the point is that it needs some work before it's a driver..... and I can't get to it!)

So, Mark.... I've revisited this post a couple of times.
I've done just enough research to feel comfortable posting what I did the FIRST time: I have no idea what you're talking about.

This is the 3rd Jaguar I've owned in the last decade. And the first two proved themselves to be extremely reliable. And the parts were readily available and inexpensive as well.

So your ambiguous comment about a fuel pump made me go ask some questions on the Jag forums, where I've been a member for 8 years or so.

Seems nobody else knows what you're talking about either.

So... enlighten me? Teach me what is so bothersome about these cars to you, that the only thing you have to say is negative?
Or maybe it's just ME that's bothersome to you?
