Another Way To Do an Engine Swap?

Post by sptcoupe »

I guess this is spider related, but I'm not really sure! Here is an innovative project for those of you who want a V-8 in your spider. Or maybe its for those who want a spider on their V-8? Hmmmm.

That is an interesting Spider. Reading the description he used the Ford Frame to solve some of the 302 engine needs. Looking at the interior it looks like he raised the floor and you will sit with you feet cocked to the left like in the early Cobra. A lot of engineering as you look at the dash. Some rus that you can see. no pictures of how low it sits to the ground but it does look raised. What was used for the differential and what type of wheels are they on the car? Unfortunately, it looks very tacky IMHO. Thunderbird tail lights, stange bumper design, 80's style red stripes. I'm sure it is fast and will suit someones style.
Buon giro a tutti! - enjoy the ride!

I bet it handles like a dream with that 4" lift! When I saw the first pic I thought maybe it was amphibious? I like how the roll bar doubles as a head rest, seems very safe.

How about one of these for an engine swap. It should have plenty of room.

The interior and exterior are equally awful.

Be consistent, that's the key.

It seems that he is expecting 20 grand for it so I wonder where the "very, very low reserve" is. I am afraid we will never know even though some people are biting on it.
