Hey Ryan,
Thanks on the color, I bought it and it was this color, it's a decent paint job considering all the dings and the dent it has.
I'm actually going to try to keep the color when I re-do the entire car.
As for the turn signals, I just messed around with the fuses until it worked.. It blinks faster then a crackhead, but only the back one's, don't see a pint in the front blinker if it's tucked away inside the lower valence.
The only other thing I need to get working is the voltage outlet, but not really since the radio has a charge USB :)
I've never had a car that the cigar lighter worked... Oh well.
Thanks for the advise, I'll still take out all the bulbs for cleaning, just to make sure.
Maybe the reverse lights will finally work!

Cool! Ya it's a cool color. But blue is my favorite. haha

and ya, I'd bet if your rear light circuit board looked anything like my 79's did it'll fix all the lights in the back, then just cleaning off the bulb's base and the circuit board's ports for them then it'll help. make sure they fit nice and snug also.

Quick question for you all, what does desmogging do and how do I do it. The bolts holding the catalytic converter to the 4-2-1 manifold just fell, so I want to remove it, since it's unnecessary in Arizona. But is there anything to look out for?

desmogging would be the stuff in the engine bay, like the carbon canister and some little bits in that area. What you're talking about would be converting to catless. you can get a center section i believe that would be just a straight pipe for that section of the exhaust. Pretty sure nothing to look out for.

I'm going to a neighbor that i've known for a good long time, he's a wielder, so he's going to help me put a straight pipe and remove the cat. While that's not on there, can anyone show me a thread that has how to desmog? i'd rather go all 9 yards then just not have the Cat.

I might as well replace the gaskets while i'm taking it off. What is that gasket on the manifold itself called?

I think it's oil i spilled, but i know there's an oil leak somewhere, so what gasket should i replace, the head gasket?

This thread should answer most of your questions.

Not sure what gasket you are referring to. The one between the exhaust manifold and the engine block is just the exhaust manifold gasket.

I ended up welding the egr pipe shut (without damaging the threads) but if your threads are okay, you could put a pipe fitting in there.
