We've installed the Monroes on 10 or 12 cars and they work nicely. Not a sports car shock by any stretch of the imagination but the ride is nice and fairly stock feeling. KYBs are more sporty (read: stiff) and Koni yellows will beat you to death unless you have smooth roads.

KYBs and Gabriels seem to increase ride height slightly, but I have to admit I've never installed them on cars with good shocks, so it may be that the ride height was sagging to begin with due to old wayassauto (OEM) shocks.

Koni Reds were a near perfect replacement, and I wish I had bought 20 sets when they were being made.

I'd shy away from Caribou's old sites.

thanks Brad

These Monroe's are making a difference and I will be doing the rears this week (along with rotors & brakes). I think the real improvement will come with the upper & lower control arms replacement along with sway bar bushing replacements :D

Thanks Jay. I think the Napa store near you doesn't know how to search the system but they do have them also brake pads, timing belt, electric fuel pump, master cylinder.
