Bumper Shock Bolt Size - What size? - Fiat Spider 2000

Anyone know what size bolts I need for the bumper shocks? I've decided to just throw my old beat up bumper on the car rather than sourcing a better one for now. I don't have the money, time or patience for fixing up the bumper. I would rather get the car on the road and enjoy it before winter hits. You know what I'm saying!? It just needs to get on the road. I can fix stuff later.

I need to pull a set of bumpers off an '82 that is being parted out. I had hoped someone would answer, but maybe this evening I'll take a full set of sockets out to the car and see what works. Once I know, I'll post.

22mm head, 3 inches long, half inch diameter. Those are the numbers I come up with measuring mine.

Thanks guys. I emailed Autoricambi today and I think they are sending me a set of used ones. Cross your fingers they send me the right ones.

For future reference, or anyone searching the forum for answers, the bolts on the '82 are 22mm thru the shock. The bracket it mounts in has three 17mm. The bushing mount in front of the bracket has 13mm nuts. I can take pictures of it disassembled, if it helps. For that matter I could take pics of one still on a different car if that would help.

Yeah. I couldn't find the information. Used forum search and google. I'm mainly concerned with the bolts that go in through the trunk and hold the bumper shocks in place. But more info would be great for others searching. I'm sure they will end up at this thread.

I think I will take one out and got to the hardware store and try to match it up. Maybe get some in stainless to change them all. I hope they have something this big.
