Any Fiat Spider owners near Hamden, CT?

Hello,
I am currently looking at a 1971 Spider in Hamden, CT and was wondering if there is anybody who would kindly do a newbie a favor by checking the car for me. I like in NC, and that's more than 10 hours away from me, so I cannot see the car for myself'. I would greatly appreciate anybody nearby to quickly have a look at the main problematic issues with the car. Of course, I am willing to compensate for the time and eagerness to help.
