Has anyone order anything from Spiderpoint? I sent an email over a week ago to ask about the exchange rate and shipping and never received a reply.

I've found them to be a reliable source for those unique items that I can't get stateside. To the States, they use Deutsch Post, which is transfered to US Mail, probably the least expensive method from there to here. If memory serves, you can see the price of shipping before you finalize the order. I think my orders were about $30 shipping, far less than FedEx or UPS. Quick, too; less than 1 week. As far as exchange rates are concerned, that's between you and your credit card provider; they take Euros only.

I have used them once a few years back. They are reliable but you will pay a customs import tax. at the post office. It wasn't much.

I bought some new lock barrels and window winder mechs off them a few years back - perhaps 3, and found them alright but the postage is a bit of a killer.
The German parcel system is contracted to DHL and an airmail parcel to here was a minimum charge of 25 Euros and that was with no weight and no volume, they were added extras. Since then, worldwide, postal charges have gone up so they are probably more now.
But at least they do have a lot of stuff if a bit expensive.

Perhaps asking about exchange rate confused them ? or thought you were talking about exchange core / rebuilt parts ???

Exchange rates change by the day, even by the hour with some banks. Any real bank will be able to quote you a USD to Euro exchange rate over the phone. If you pay them with paypal, that will grab the rate applicable when you push the button and the receipt will show you total in your currency, as charged to your account.
