Weekend Warrior. He and my mom, along with most of my family worked or are working for the studios. R B ran set builds for movies like Thelma and Louise, Bruce Almighty ,Star Trek, and Enime of the state to name a few. He built a jet fighter for scratch on a bet, just useing the real canopy. He oversaw the building of the gasoline big rig that blew up in Thelma and Louise. He tried getting me into the studios just after he retired, but thats when the industry tanked.

No, really. I wanted to do this more than anything else in the world. But the stars never aligned where I thought I could live on a teachers' salary. I dreamed that I would make my fortunes, and then return to teaching, but instead, I put my wife through college to become a teacher, started a family and then could not imagine taking the paycut.
Shame on me.

I spent 2 semesters at the Royal Conservatory in Prague. Sang with the Utah Opera, and had a short stint with the MoTab. All because my OWN High School Choir teacher influenced me so greatly.
