they aren't overpriced, 1608 pistons are hard to find that's why I've been having forged pistons made. The question would be are they the right size for your block. Have you miked the cylinders to see if it needs to be bored?

I have not done anything, engine is in the garage yet, I was thinking of getting some parts and then get it all togetherrSo Cal Mark wrote:they aren't overpriced, 1608 pistons are hard to find that's why I've been having forged pistons made. I think 1608s had two types of wrist pins. You have to make sure yours are the same in the ad. I think you have to disassemble in order to tell the difference. Any 1608 experts on the board?

Same ones I bought from the same guy several years ago. They are still in the box. (have another 1608 engine I'm debating as to what to do with it)). I did recieve them finally but it took several (around 2 1/2) months and plenty of emails, calls and just about a road trip before they were sent. The money order had cleared a week after mailing it.
