I've sat in a 850 and found them a bit claustrophobic for my liking.Raced??? hows the tranny? Engine??? $1000 seems a bit (lot) much for a car that has not run since the 80's. Couple hundred perhaps max.

I'd spend a bit more and look for a 124 spider I've sat in a 850 and found them a bit claustrophobic for my liking.

the 850 is much harder to find parts for than the X19s or Spiders. It could turn out to be a money pit once you start having to replace anything rubber (gaskets, seals, door seals, roof seals, brake lines, tires, boots, etc.).
