I'd spend a bit more and look for a 124 spider :D I've sat in a 850 and found them a bit claustrophobic for my liking.

Raced??? hows the tranny? Engine??? $1000 seems a bit (lot) much for a car that has not run since the 80's. Couple hundred perhaps max.

the 850 is much harder to find parts for than the X19s or Spiders. It could turn out to be a money pit once you start having to replace anything rubber (gaskets, seals, door seals, roof seals, brake lines, tires, boots, etc.).
