I agree, but isn't it great when you do a search for parts that way and find them cheap because they couldn't sell them. Found several now from both Craigslist and ebay. I hope those who have no idea what they have keep it up. LOL

"it bothers me when" i look for an item on EBAY and have to sort through all the Chinese-made crap like Dash covers, Seat covers, nick-knacks, ETC....

i miss the old days before everybody and their dogs had stores on EBAY!!

I agree!! The first time I searched e-bay for Fiat Spider I found about 400 parts. I searched Fiat spider last week and found over ten thousand. One can't look through ten thousand parts to find good buys.

If you exclude "HID" "XENON" and "CAP" the list goes from 14,000 to 3,000 items and most of them are legitimate.

Put this in the search bar:

fiat spider -hid -xenon -cap

people order food, then are too drunk to stay awake for it to be delivered.
and then dispute the charges.

Nah, it doesn't fit right. There is no way a twin tip fits correctly under the back end of your Spider unless you cut and flanged the opening. Otherwise you have a single pipe indentation with a dual pipe under it. And then the weight of the stupid thing is slowly but surely stressing the joint at your center pipe. It is leaking.

And one day the twin tip will disconnect from the car, and it will come into your house, and it will frighten you, your wife (or lover), and children (and/or pets).

No matter what you do

the ANSA

will

eventually

haunt

you.

Ha! My '82 came with one and while I really like the sound, it is a bother. The PO installed it twisted and the tips point slightly upward (don't know if this is correct or not, but it looks odd). It is heavy and in my short time driving the car (just 3 months of driving time) it's already broken off once!

......some asshat in a newer sports car uses his abundance of power to pass me, even though I am moving along at a crisp clip, only to hold me up when we get to the twisty bits, because they know nothing of how to have fun in a sports car!

A bothers me list for the Spider? Well...it bothers me when

1) people name their car
2) people remove the bumpers
3) people install a non-FIAT engine (because it never sees the road again)
4) panasports are installed
5) people two-tone the car
Given the large number of posts on removing them I thought I was the only one who didn't like the look of a Spider without bumpers! To me it looks like the car has a receding chin.

My joy at seeing this list is tempered, however, by the fact that I have Panasports on one of my Fiats!
A Spider without a bumper looks like a pretty girl with a terrible overbite. Just sayin.

Yeup, been there a year ago.
Got behind a Porche Cayman on a highway (Hope Princeton) . Twisty highway with straight sections. I had a gas and actually held my own in the corners.(I thought anyway) and then he kept the speed to just above the limit on the straights,as this highway is heavily patroled
After a long straight section caught up to him at a gas station and had a chat. He had just taken delivery of the car (imported from Florida)and was quite nervous of the power. Scared of swapping ends on the corners.
I mentioned a driving school of sorts at Boundary Bay , perhaps he followed up on it.
Love my car, I could have 6 Spiders and change for what he picked that car up for ($ 38,000)
