Where to go for wheels.

Post by katsi »

I'm looking for some new wheels and I really don't know where to go to shop for them. I really can't find anything on the web and I would rather bolt on some frozen pizzas than mount some Panasports on my car (nothing personal just don't like them). What I would really like (I found them once a few years ago but can't find them now) are some Ferrari 5 point stars like the one's that came on the 308's in the 80's. I found some that would fit the 124. Honestly, I would really like to get the aftermarket 14" version of the 13" chromadoras I have on now but at the price they want for them, might as well go all out and get the ferrari 5 point stars. :?

My tiers and rims are just so small and thin.

Thoughts?

By the way, just to clear up some confusion some have had with 'Katsi". It is pronounced Kot-z and not Cat-see. And, it's German not Japanese. Hope this helps.

The closest I found to a "new" version of the Cromodora CD31 (Daytonas) are the Performance Challengers, from an Australian company. They can drill them to the Fiat bolt circle.

Got it. They are called CD 87's and apparently very rare. Crapola!

CD87s are the wrong PCD (4x108). CD50s had the right PCD (4 x 98) but also very rare.

If you have German connections you could get ATS Sternfelgen. I don't know if they are rare in 4X98 but they are very common in 4X100

14" Daytonas on an early Spider would be the cat's pajamas. 8)

Great. Now they make CD39 replicas (6x13). I looked everywhere for those before buying my 7x13 CD66 replicas. The CD39s would be much better.
