I am way up north of Everett. Currently we have the front end on jack stands while we replace bushings. Most of the bushings were pressed all the way to the control arms. Add rust to that and we have a huge pain on our hands.
Every piece of rubber on the front of the car was in bad shape. Slop in the control arms and steering linkage. New parts will be here Friday from Auto Ricambi
Good news is the engine issues we started with have been sorted out. My dad picked up the car not running. We started checking fluids and found nearly 10qts of oil in the block. Got it started and decided to do a carb rebuild and a minor tune up (rotor, cap, plugs, wires, fuel filter). Then we rerouted the vacuum lines (nothing was routed to the right location) and did the timing. Runs like a champ now.
