Well, for the first time, I'm "reading this at my peril".

Ugh.

On a website that I come to not for political discourse, but to get my I-car fix.

My point was that it's dangerous to pull random quotes when you understand nothing of their context and nothing of the speaker.

With the internet, for any point you wish to make, you will be able to find a quote from someone like Auberon Herbert to support that point. But that won't change your particular Auberon Herbert from fool to sage.
