AFTER MARKET (I assume China) TAIL LIGHTS

Anyone have any feedback on these aftermarket tailight assemblies? Normally, I wouldn't even consider these, but my originals don't seem to be of steller quality either...deteriorated sockets, almost non-existant gaskets, flaking plastic chrome and so on. I'm sure these lights are probably China sourced, so a price in the 300's is a total bendover and I don't want to reward anyone for selling them, but if the quality is as good or better than OEM, I would probably buy. Thought I would updated this thread... After some agonizing over purchasing rear tail light assys, I decided to try the ones from IAP because they were 1/2 the cost of some others I considered and I could return them if not happy. I wish I could give a more definative thumbs up or thumbs down review for everyone, but I think only time will tell how good of a value these are in comparison to the more expensive ones offered by Vicks and Midwest Bayless. Upon opening the package, there was no indication where the lights were made, but I would suspect eastern Europe or China. The assemblies looked pretty good compared to my plastic chrome flaking, dull lensed originals. The new ones had no reflectors riveted to the bases, time will tell if heat from the bulbs will degrade the bases quicker, I suspect it will, at least on the running lights. On the flip side, the relectors in my originals did not look good, while the plastic chrome inside the base was in decent shape. The lamp sockets in the new assemblies looked to be of marginal quality but looked very universal, as in easily replaced ( they are screwed in rather than riveted which is nice) and were covered with a rubber boot. The thumb screws and the rear dust covers are retained. Once installed, the IAP lights slightly surpassed my expectations as they fit decently and had a nice original looking appearance.
As for 350.00 lamps being a better value than the 700.00 lamps, I don't know. I really don't think the originals' quality was anything to brag about. Its hard to justify spending 25% of the cars value on just tail lamps. The cheapies, if you can even call them that, might be a good option for you. Like I said earlier, time will tell.
