Congratulations! That's a long way from its point of origin in Lincoln. Let us know how it looks and post pix! I only got a glimpse of it when I was out riding bikes with a friend.

it is the most micky mouse car that i have ever seen lol. exhaust was busted off at the manifold, shock is wore by the bolt on the bottom, u have to see a picture to believe that , nuts was missing on the arm that bolts on to the back of the wheel. i don;t know what it called, one nut was off and the other is stripped, seats are junk. im thrown them out,one spring is busted. this guy told me that he was going thru the whole car, GOD HELP ME lol

I guess the good news is that you won't be like so many of us who don't want to change things because we want to keep it original. It'll give you license to modify the car any way that you'd like! If you're anything like me, I end up tearing everything down anyways.

Hang in there. Bought my car on ebay and even though I know cars never look like the photos, I pretty much wanted to cry when mine rolled up. Forum members had advised me to buy (among other things) a fire extinguisher for the 350 mile ride home and I refused - secretly hoping my purchase would go up in flames and no one back home would ever see my foolish purchase. Three months later, with the help of forum members, a DCFIAT guru and his mechanic, my car is a solid driver an I am really, really happy with my car and excited about making it even better. Goo luck!

i drove the car today,. top speed 82 lol. now i know there something wrong here. suppose to be a mild cam,2.0. dual carbs
now we all know we can run faster then that
so anyways i get the exhaust fixed temper rarely
get the 2 nuts on this metal bar ( not sure what it called. right behind the rotor and dust shield
orderd the shocks. might have to get a new a arm too. seems where the shock bolts onto the bottom , has been dragged and wore down to the bolt ( i will get s photo of that)
after i drove it , car would not start,i was like WTF, now i am piss :)
so i take the cap off the dizzy, rotor is completely blown apart lol ,inside the cap ( looks like some one beat the shit out of it ,
well come to see that one of the rotor screws was stripped so of course the rotor is going to lift up and well? ( U HAVE TO SEE A PHOTO
so i fixed that
now it started and wont start again, it very possible that i need the that electronic wire,( can't recall the name
front spring needs to be replaced.
seats need to be thrown in the garbage, with the door panel and both consoles
the sway bar in front ? i am confused,he got this on BUT u have to see how many washers holding this on
seems to me ( i am no mechanic) but in looking at the other 4 cars i have. there no washers.maybe one.
anyways is there such a thing as he got the wrong sway bar rubber bushing ends? seems it possible that they are to thick and so he cant get it to fit right ADD WASHERS lol. it squeaks and moved when u drive it,and when u jack up the car,u can watch the sway bar pull away from the inside of the bracket. DOES THAT make sense

Ouch!

Those look like Honda CRX seats. Sometimes it can seem overwhelming. Focus first on the mechanical components, suspension, etc. The cosmetics such as door panels, consoles, seats, carpets are readily available and not too expensive.

You'll quickly add the abbreviation P.O. to your vocabulary - it stands for two synonymous terms "Prior Owner" and "Pissed Off"

After seeing the shock i can tell you how that happened. the wheel came off while going down the road. if the brake rotor has not been replaced it will also have a flat spot. but nothing else should be hurt. dont ask me how i know
