I would like to know what color combinations were available on new Spiders over the years. I have read through several threads and looked at some other sites for the information. Several exterior paint charts are available, but I have not found any info on original top and interior choices. For example, the 73 I once owned was orange, black top, black interior when new. I know Fiat made many running changes during model years, so the info might be a little slippery, but old sales brochures or shop manuals might contain some references.
Can anyone help?

Re: Color combinations
I would like to see this information as well. In particular, my Dark Red '77 has a darker tan interior (I believe it's called Saddle?) than other "tan" interiors I've seen. It also has red carpet and black dash/consoles. The driver's seat has some tears that will require a new seat cover and I'd like to ensure that the color I order is correct, be it for one or both front seats. The rest of the interior is fine and will not need recovering.

Re: Color combinations
I have never seen a chart that matched interior color to the exterior one. If these is such a thing, I'd love to see it.
Until the Spider 2000 came out in 1979 the dash and consoles were always black. The colors were usually black, but a few were dark tan, and even fewer were red. The carpet did not always match the interior, I had white Spiders with black seats and blue carpet.
With the Spider 2000 the tops of the door panels became black, to match the dash, and the most common interior color was light tan. Other available were black, blue, burgundy and salmon (very rare). The carpet usually matched the interior.
The Limited Edition and Leather option cars had a brown dash and steering wheel and leather covered consoles. The lower part of the dash was also covered in tan leather.
The Pininfarinas (1983-85) came with a tan colored dash with the tan interior, the first time all the interior matched.
I do not remember if they had any other color than tan and black.
