Ignition Coil Aluminum Fins Clean Up

anyone know the best way to clean up the aluminum fins on the ignition coil pack? Can this be sandblasted, painted, wire brushed? So bummed out the coil cracked while trying to remove. Need new coil now for 82. Post in electrical looking for advice on replacement? ThanksImage

I sand blasted and then bead blated. Looks like new.
