That is one thing I absolutely love about the Fiat community. Everyone helps everyone! Either in person, or over teh internerd. From teh time I bought my Fiat from Shaun, he took very good car eof me. Then when I had a wiper prob, Mbouse sent me an inop wiper motor to experiment with.
I had the opportunity to help a fellow Fiat guy, and jumped at it. It turned out I help a couple in the process. This community definaltey appears to be a charma type place.
I manetioned before that I was very active in a Triumph motorcycle site. I know some of the other Fiat guys are also into Euro bikes as well. They can attest to the fact that almost every motorcycle site (especially the sport bikes) are overflowing wioth squids. A squid id the guy tha truns out and buys the latest and greatest every year, and HAS to have all of the color coordinated accessories. His bike is covered with chrome. No matter what, he has been there and done that. From trick riding to racing, they are experts. Thier racing leathers are proof of that. Except the fact that thier knee sliders are virginal. They shine thier bikes, ride two blocks to the local pub, drink beer and look at thier bikes, and talk about ALLLL the hard riding they did that day. As I sad..... Squid.
These guys gwt on the net and stir the pot, and flame anyoen that has an honest question, or new to the sport.
The site I was on, was very rare. They didnt tolerate that stuff. BUT, It is a British site. So there were a WHOLE lot of U.S. bashing, political trash talking, and th elike.
As one of the "newbies" i can assure you that one of the best things abotu the Fiat forums that I am active on is the friendly, helping atmosphere. When I can return the favor, I do and will.

Re: Increased traffic
I also find this forum to be the easiest to use as well as the friendliest. Whenever I meet a Fiater on the street, I mention the site. I've met some great people here, gotten some great help. And people are generally positive and helpful. Many thanks to Mark and to everyone else here who offer their knowledge, experience and discoveries. The internet has made it much more enjoyable to own one of these cars, from finding it to maintaining it to modifying it. Thanks!!

Re: Increased traffic
I agree this forum is much easier to follow than the others.I have owned my 82 for a year in April. It is safe to say that it wouldnt be nearly as sorted out if not for the help and advise of the great people on this and the FLU forums . Living in a rural area where most people have never seen ,let alone worked on a Spider ,these are my only links to other enthusiasts. Many thanks for putting up w/ my dumb questions....I'm sure there will be more!!
