hey all, i pulled out the center console. repainted. many many times.
took out the stock toggle switch, and re located it. which was a pain. but a good excuse to use my new dremel pretty well made center consoles really, backed with metal and all.
anyway I've always wanted one of those toggle switches with the safety cover. like a fighter jet!
from moving all those switches and lights around there were several holes that needed to be covered.
here is a pic of what i was starting with.
and here is a pic of what I've ended with.
the place around the shift boot looks fine, but the leather around the toggle switch still looks unfinished. the sides and back look fine, but the top (closest to the missing ashtray) looks off
does anyone have any ideas of how to fix that?!
i was thinking some sort of emblem attached to that blank plastic. butted against that leather....?
I'm really not sure. or piping around that top piece of leather?
help!?
thanks!!!
