Going price/boot covers?

Post by SanRafaelFaz »

Looking for a beige boot cover. I'll take a used one provided it still looks presentable with no tears, etc. The new ones I've seen (IAP, VICK's) are in the $360-$375 range. I need the full monte with hardware and all. Anyone got a line on a lower priced dealer, or is this about what I should expect? Anyone have one they'd like to unload?

ok here is what i have.... camera is in luggage that has yet to make it home.... when it does i will take a pic

dont know if it is biege or tan

missing one of the metal pieces that should be sewn or glued in the back that attaches to hooks by the trunk on passenger side

it is dirty but looks to be in very good shape with one problem... seems like they folded it and put it on a shelf that the sun could hit it.... sooooo in the middle of the cover it is faded different then the rest... it is my opinion that no amount of cleaning and or treating will make it the same color all over... at 15 feet you can not tell... but up close it is quite obvious

it's pretty cool though... never had it on the car... never noticed it in pictures of other cars till you mentioned it... just in the spare parts box... seems like something someday i might play with ... but could go for ever and never put it on

also have 2 black rubber band looking things that i think go with it somehow... dont have my rear interior panels installed so i do not know how it attaches other than a guess....

let me know if you want a pic still

Thanks for the follow up, much appreciated! I think I will pass on the boot as I'm going to have new paint, top and interior so I guess I'll just bite the bullet and buy a new one. BUT...I AM interested in those rubber strap thingies!
