Loose the bumpers

I really want to loose the stock bumpers. Could go with the Abarth style bumperettes, or am receptive to any other original ideas. From my research the bumperettes are pretty spendy, $350, plus one has to make a custom bracket. Any ideas?

yup, the search works great.
I'm a fan of the "quick jack" type, as used on the Cobras and other roadsters.

Here's the ones I bought off evil-bay, bid & got them for min bid $239 + shipping from Germany.

They are fiberglass w/ metal tubes coming off the back that go right into the old bumper shock holes & bolt in with the original bolts.
