What sets your Spider apart from the rest?

you can fool some of the cops some of the time, but you can't fool all of the cops all of the time

I was thinking about converting the rear bumper mounting brackets to the backup lights ... Has anyone ever done that ... I'm thinking once that is converted, there would be no signs that bumpers were actually mounted there .. Replace with some body or black rubbers below the tail lights and were off! ... Of course if I get rear ended that might be a problem!!!

Any thoughts on that??

This guy has sourced Fiat 124 Limousine front blinkers and sells them on evilbay

His only stupidity is that he hasn't got Paypal, he could make a killing!

It might look better if the black oval plate surrounding the light was painted the same colour as the body.

The German ebay car's lights look like a good solution.

tom from UK, have you used these German lights? Have you seen them on a car? Are they as good as the EBAY picture indicates?

here is my solution. Once we get our bumper blocks to market, we'll come up with a kit to use the round lights in the outboard rectangular hole

Mike

I don't need them since I have a first series Spider (see signature link)
Did some more research. They are from a Lada 1200.
Lada 1200s were essentially Fiat 124 sedan made under licence in Eastern Europe and Russia.
Shouldn't be too hard tracing them. You would probably just need to make up something at the back to hold them in place. But I think they look ace!

I think the lights on Ebay are cool with the Abarth bumpers and Marks are nice without its are hard choice to
choose between the 2 i was leaning toward the Abarth bumpers but now even more so if Mark ever gets that guy
to make them !??? :( Ill buy a set ASAP when they are done !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

+1 for Mark creating the indicators for the rectangular (sort of) openings. . .

Mark, some of us have stimulus checks we want to spend
