If you have wide tires and there is a crown on the lane you are in, you will/can get the car to pull side to side.

especially a lightweight car, like ours.
and especially if your car's been lowered and not re-aligned properly (like mine  )

I'm thinking the biggest problem is the weight. I have noticed that at high speeds mine wants to drift from siide to side. My car is not lowered at all and it feels as if I'm riding on a pocket of air. Smooth as a baby's *## but drifting. Maybe we need to find a spoiler or something to retro fit to the spider to keep it planted. Or just slow down but where is the fun in that?

Do you have the air dam/spoiler on the front. For years i thought that thing did nothing. i installed one for looks and at highway speeds, Texas 85 MPH outsde Austin, I could feel a little difference in downforce. i also lowered the car but you can't tell because the new springs brought it back up to about the same ride height as the old worn ones.

I bounce around a little as well at high speeds. Try driving one of the 70's era 500's all out on a highway where there are little bumps in the road. The car actually lifts and lands in a very scary way. you get that "I'm going to die chill down your spine" and tend to slow down very very quickly.
Buon giro a tutti! - enjoy the ride!

replacing all the bushing and rubber suspension parts would be a good ideal you would be surprised at how much
play some of the worn out stuff might have . I changed everything on 1 fiat I owned all the parts replaced with
brand new, what a difference in the feel of the car on the road .
