Thanks, but I have more then I can handle with the cars I have now. I was just thinking someone could make that into a very nice car.

dood... if somebody legitimately offered you $20k for your spider, and you turned it down... you should have your head examined.

I have my car just how I want it. And love driving it. Every day. if I was to sell how long would it take for me to get another to this point and at what cost. Another $10.000 and maybe 2 more years ? That's not worth $20,000 to me.

Spiderrey,
Here are a couple of pics the day my car arrived. The seatbelts were in the car in April '69 when the car was bought new according to the owner. Not sure if they were dealer installed or from the factory. You can also see the horns still had some blue paint. You have probably also found that the Italians, as well as the British pull parts from whatever bin is closest when these cars are being built. I do have to admit that the restoration on that car is impressive and I'm sure he has every penny in it that he's asking, in labor at least.

yeah, I hear ya.
I guess I've never been there.... where I'm happy with the car just how it is. Otherwise, I'd likely feel the same way.

I have the same car. It too had a complete nut and bolt restoration, except I'm not so anal in regards to having it original and stock. I built mine to enjoy not to put on a trailer.

Fiat freek

That looks like a neat (I'm sure arguably) upgrade. Is it a 2L FI or is the engine an upgraded smaller displacement? Looks nice and tidy.
